If you are arriving by automobile – please refer to Mapquest for driving directions from your location.  The hotel is located on the southeast corner of Hollywood Way and Thornton Avenue.  When leaving at the end of the day, use the Thornton Avenue exit. Discounted parking is $10 per day. Guests who are staying at the hotel have in/out parking privileges; otherwise, no in/out.

For directions from various parts of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, click here to find information provided by the Marriott.

Parking

Enter from Hollywood Way or Thornton Avenue.   Exit on Thornton Avenue.

Daily parking is $10 per day.  Daily parkers do not have no in-and-out privileges.

Attendees who are overnight Marriott guests have in-and-out parking privileges. For your convenience, we suggest you have the parking charge added to your hotel bill. The Marriott staff will give you a parking pass.

On Saturday and Sunday, nearly 1100 parking spots are available for our use. Friday afternoon should see over 800 available parking spots. The Pavilion takes only 20 parking places out of use.

If the Marriott lot is full, you can park in the commercial parking lot directly to the north of the Marriott across Thornton Avenue. The parking cost is $9. The Marriott will provide shuttle service to and from the commercial lot.

Handicapped parking is available throughout the lot. Temporary handicapped parking will be available in the row immediately to the east of the Pavilion.

To prevent delays leaving the parking lot, please pay for your parking before you go to your car. A parking attendant will be available according to this schedule:
Friday
8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Main Hotel City Ballroom
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Convention Center

Saturday and Sunday
9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Convention Center

If you are dropping off passengers, enter from Hollywood Way and pull into the main Marriott driveway. You can then make a U-turn and go back out the driveway without having to pay.

Valet parking is available at a cost of $22.

Burbank airport

If you are flying – we strongly recommend using the Bob Hope Burbank Airport if at all possible.  It will be much more convenient for you, less traffic, much shorter time between arrival and relaxing at the hotel.  If Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport is not going to work out, LAX and Ontario airports are also alternatives.

  1. Into Bob Hope Burbank Airport:  The Marriott has a complimentary shuttle that runs on a regular half-hour schedule.  The airport is about 5 minutes away from the hotel.  Airlines serving Burbank include Alaska, America West, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and United.

  2. Into LAX (Los Angeles International Airport):  LAX is located about 20 miles south of Burbank and, depending on traffic, those 20 miles could take 2 to 3 hours.  Taxi fares from LAX will run about $60, and up to four passengers can for a single fare.  One-way SuperShuttle (800-258-3826) rates are about $39 for a single rider; additional passengers in your party cost $9.  Rates are subject to change.

  3. Into Ontario:  Ontario, California, is about 60 minutes east of Burbank.  The airport is new, small, convenient, and the drive to Burbank is usually less likely to suffer traffic nightmares.  The SuperShuttle fare from Ontario is likely to run you about $55.S

metrolink

Beat the traffic and Take the Metro to Jamboree–Several city bus routes serve the Marriott, and the Red Line makes it easy to reach Burbank from many areas of Los Angeles.

Take the Red Line to North Hollywood

If you are traveling by train – The Burbank Airport train station, located adjacent to the Burbank Airport, at 3750 Empire Avenue, is across the street from the Marriott.  The Pacifc Surfliner runs between San Luis Obispo and San Diego with twelve daily round-trips between San Diego and Los Angeles, and between Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Southern California travelers have even more options with the Amtrak/Metrolink/Coaster Rail 2 Rail program. Pacific Surfliner tickets are valid on Metrolink and Coaster trains.

  1. Bob Hope Airport Service - Between L.A. Union Station and Burbank, any Amtrak or Metrolink ticket types may be used on both Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains.

  2. Shared Service Trains -Between L.A. Union Station and Oxnard, all Metrolink ticket types are accepted on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains #799 and #768 (between the station pairs listed on their tickets).

  3. For more information, check www.railtorail.org

The Marriott will provide complimentary shuttle service to the train station.  Call the Marriott when you arrive at the train station and request a pickup.  Explore rates and schedules for Amtrak at www.amtrak.com.
