SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
 

Elaine Alexander is a specialist in materials and techniques in research for passenger lists and naturalization records.  She has served at the Los Angeles Regional Family History Center (1992-2001) as teacher, supervisor, assistant to the director of passenger lists and head of the naturalization records project.

Ms. Alexander has been an instructor of basic genealogy and an instructional materials developer at the University of California:  Los Angeles Extension, California State University:Northridge, and Los Angeles City College.  She currently lectures and conducts seminars and workshops throughout southern California. 

Ms. Alexander has three books available from Delphic Press:  How to Find Naturalization Records, US Ports of Arrival and Their Records, and Five Steps to Passenger Lists.
