Brick Wall Break-Down!
Members will attempt to solve a brick wall for each of three lucky contestants. Submit everything a researcher will need to know about your brick-wall ancestor and their FAN club (family, associates, neighbors) on a one- to two-page Word document to britishisles@scgsgenealogy.com. A link to the profile of your ancestor on any free genealogy site (FamilySearch, WikiTree, etc.) would be helpful, too. The deadline is December 31st.

Ireland as an Ireland was once one nation. In 1916 the Irish Republic was proclaimed and in 1921 Northern Ireland was established. The UK has possession of the 6 northern counties today. Depending upon the timeline when you are looking for records, their location may vary.
