SCGS's British Isles Interest Group welcomes speaker Jennifer Moulder of FamilySearch for a virtual lecture on Sunday, June 22, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. PDT. Jennifer's topic will be "Pilgrims, Puritans, and Piecers: Researching Early New England Settlers (1620-1700)."
About the Presentation
Tens of thousands of people migrated to or within New England between 1620 and 1700; however, researching in this time period can be difficult due to incomplete and missing records. In this class, we will explore the early history of this region, introduce the surviving original records, discuss several compiled sources, and demonstrate research in New England before 1700 through a case study.
