About the Event

The German Interest Group of the Southern California Genealogical Society will host Annette Unrau at its meeting on Saturday, September 21 at the SCGS Family Research Library in Burbank. Annette will present "Plagues of Prussia."

About Annette

As a native German from Hamburg, Annette is a researcher immensely interested in German genealogy, emigration, and consulting with others to discover their German heritage.

About the German Interest Group

The German Interest Group aims to provide a wide range of resources inside and outside the SCGS Library to help trace German families. The group meets at the Library every third Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Speakers often present information on German research, and the group offers assistance with attendees' German research challenges. New members and guests are always welcome. If you bring your family information (pedigree charts and family group sheets with as much information as possible), the group members will be better able to assist you in locating the information you need to find your German ancestors.
