Italian Interest Group Meeting

The Southern California Genealogical Society’s Italian Interest Group invites you to its next regularly scheduled online meeting on Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to noon PDT.

We are proud to welcome once again Suzanne Greco, Founder and Director of Italian Parish Records, a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the preservation and accessibility of rare church records throughout Italy for historical, academic, and genealogical use. Attendees will hear about the activities and collections of the organization to date, why the efforts of this organization matter to genealogists, and how you can become involved. Also included will be a brief presentation on Italian church records in general and the information that

genealogists can glean from them. A Q&A  period with attendees will follow.

In addition to her role as a board member of the Global Collaborative, she is currently immersed in her Ph.D. studies at the University of

Edinburgh, having recently graduated from Harvard Divinity School.
