Lunch & Learn: Marti Lewis

SCGS's free Lunch & Learn online Educational Series hosts a Double Bill on Saturday, September 14, featuring two engaging speakers. The second presenter will be Marti Lewis, who will discuss "Deciphering if It’s the Wrong Name, Right Man, Wrong Man, Right Name” at 2:10 p.m.

Marti will share creative ideas and strategies to help researchers consider all possible spelling options when identifying the individuals being researched. Variations in the spelling of names can make research complicated.

Marti Lewis is a compelling and influential voice in the genealogy community. She has been featured, quoted, profiled, and published in several major media publications. She’s also the President of the San Diego African American Genealogy Research Group.
