Webinar: Kate Townsend

The Southern California Genealogical Society's final Webinar for 2024 will be Kate Townsend, who will present "Unlocking the Keystone State" on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m. PST.

About Kate Townsend

Kate is a former professional investigator-turned-genealogist specializing in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio genealogical research. She also has experience with court records, immigration, and naturalization records. Kate is the owner of Family History Investigations LLC.  Kate completed Boston University's Certificate in Genealogical Research in May 2020. Since then, she has continued her education at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR), the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP), and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG). She is a graduate of ProGen 58.  She holds a  BA in American Studies from George Washington University and an MA in Cultural Heritage Studies from University College London.
