Due to the catastrophic and unprecedented fires in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, the Southern California Genealogical Society Library will be closed from January 14 to January 16. It plans to reopen on Saturday, January 18.
Our hearts and prayers go to those affected by the wildfires, including those who may have lost their homes or had to relocate due to evacuation. We know that some of our members have been displaced. This crisis has touched every corner of our region, leaving many dealing with loss and uncertainty. The damage is personal—homes destroyed, livelihoods lost, and communities forever changed.
